Over his thirty year career, George Ling has witnessed first-hand the power of data on marketing. After receiving his MBA, he began his career as a market researcher, progressing to database marketing roles at Citibank and American Express.
The need for analytics and associated disciplines, and the value these disciplines bring to organizational strategy and tactics, was further underscored for Ling in subsequent operational, consultative, and leadership stints at Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Royal Bank of Scotland. His work during these years focused on the development and deployment of analytics, CRM, database tools, and organizational integration. Since 2009, Ling’s consulting business has engaged with clients in various industries including financial services, energy, and wine on business integration of analytics, deployment, and change management.
